Cheerful Music Successfully Concluded Its Second Writing Camp in China

At the beginning of 2026, during the season of renewal and celebration, Cheerful Music successfully hosted the “Exploring Chinese Melodies • Chinese New Year Edition” International Writing Camp.

From January 28 to February 2, 2026, the camp took place in Shenzhen, China, bringing together international artists from the United States, the Netherlands, and Indonesia, alongside Chinese artists who incorporated regional influences, including Yunnan dialects and local musical elements, into the creative process.

Participating artists included GOBBACK, ILSE, MICHAELACHEL, PANK, PATRICK HIZON, YEESKIN, and 镀YESIDO, whose diverse backgrounds and musical identities contributed to a dynamic and inspiring creative environment.

The Chinese New Year Writing Camp marked another meaningful step in Cheerful Music’s ongoing commitment to fostering international collaboration and expanding cross-cultural musical dialogue.
